Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead our team at our newly opened Plumstead, London location. As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership and direction to the nursery team.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care and education provided.
Manage budgets, resources, and financial planning for the nursery.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff members.
Lead staff recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the performance and progress of the nursery.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Proven experience in a managerial/deputy role within an early year setting.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate a team.
