Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our Woolwich, London location. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of children in our care, ensuring they receive the best possible start in life.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
Plan and deliver a range of stimulating activities that promote learning and development.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Observe and assess children’s progress, identifying areas for development and planning next steps.
Ensure all children’s individual needs are met, including dietary requirements and medical conditions.
Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development.
Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the welfare and safety of all children.
Contribute to the overall operation and effectiveness of the nursery.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Previous experience working in an early years setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
